The Vortex. Off Llum BCN 2025

The Vortex is a multimedia installation that immerses participants in a journey that challenges their digital alter ego. It is an experience where artificial intelligence automatically fuses them with a new reality.
Specifically designed for Off Llum BCN 2025, the alternative festival of Llum Barcelona, this immersive experience has attracted over 3,000 visitors during the three days of the event.
The Vortex invites the audience to explore the boundaries between technology, identity, and perception, transporting them into a constantly evolving digital universe.
Before entering, a photo is taken of each visitor, which will then be integrated into the projections through AI to generate unique patterns. In this way, the visitors themselves become part of the artwork.
Once inside The Vortex, visitors lie on the floor within a cylinder surrounded by perimeter LEDs and an infinite mirror effect. In this multisensory environment, light, infinite reflections, and artificial intelligence combine to create dynamic and personalized projections, making the experience a unique and immersive one.
