Com ens desplaçarem en el futur? Podrem fer-ho sense malmetre el medi ambient? Aquestes són algunes de les preguntes a les quals l’exposició de Toyota, Eco-Mobilitat, ha de respondre.

Situada sota la pèrgola fotovoltaica del Fòrum de Barcelona, l’exposició està envoltada de grans pilars de formigó que influeixen la seva geometria. Es defineix a través de tres mòduls temàtics independents que giren entorn a una plaça central. La seva geometria, en constant diàleg amb l’entorn, permet la fluïdesa del públic a través dels diferents accessos.

Els materials que configuren l’edifici són l’acer, el vidre i la fusta. Les divisions dels espais es generen amb uns murs d’acer corten fins a l’alçada de dos metres. A partir d’aquí se situa una mampara de vidre, amb un vinil imprès amb imatges de fulles d’arbre, que recorre tot el perímetre. El paviment unifica tot l’espai amb un enllistonat de fusta IPE. La imatge del conjunt pretén emular un dens bosc que els cotxes del futur no malmetran.

A l’exterior, a cinc metres d’alçada, una gran estructura penjada sobresurt de l’edificació per actuar de reclam visual.

Built in Barcelona, the japanese car manufacturer Toyota asked Indissoluble to design and build a temporary exhibition building to answer this and other questions.

The building is defined through three independent thematic modules that revolve around a central square. Its geometry, in constant dialogue with the environment, allows the flow of the public through the different entrances.

The materials that make up the building are steel, glass and wood. The divisions of spaces are generated with corten steel walls up to two meters high. From here a glass screen is placed, with a vinyl printed with images of tree leaves, which runs around the perimeter. The full image aims to emulate a dense forest that the cars of the future will not damage.
