OBS showcase for Paris 2024 Olympics
OBS
IBC. Paris 2024 Olympics
Indissoluble was commissioned to create an exhibition for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics showcasing the cutting-edge technologies employed by Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) to broadcast the games worldwide. Located on the International Broadcasting Center (IBC), this interactive display provided visitors with a behind-the-scenes look at the innovations that made it possible to deliver live, high-quality coverage to millions of viewers. From advanced camera systems and 5G networks to immersive virtual and augmented reality experiences, the exhibition highlighted how OBS used the latest in broadcast technology to capture the excitement and energy of the Olympic Games in real time, ensuring a global audience could enjoy every moment.
The project featured a raised platform that showcased five totems, each representing one of the colors of the Olympic rings. Each totem was divided into three sections, with each face displaying a different broadcasting technology. Atop each totem, a torch-like structure served as a beacon of light, allowing visitors to spot the exhibition from a distance.
